Feedback Notes from the Research Presentation. - Cian

Focus less on the AI side of the project, it's a tool to get the end product working, not the end product itself.

Slides are too conversational, be direct and more specific, use bullet points.

Don't waste time, get rid of unnecessary slides.

We are a team so act as a team. Individual work will be seen on the blog.

Be more specific regarding the AI research.

Use more pictures and avoid using stock photos.

Include more source info, screenshots of sources.

Graphs make for good visual information.

Have a better, clearer structure for future presentations.

  Notes from Phil’s Class on research and prototyping:     RESEARCH:   Research presentation on the 7 th November, worth 30% of final mark!     5 minute presentation, 5 min Q and A.     S lide format is important:   Title   Overview   Aims   Background   Objectives   --All the above within approx 1 min 30 sec   RESEARCH   --Research is the bulk of the presentation.   Next Step   --1 or 2 slides outlining our prototyping plan     Practise, Practise, Practise!! Make sure our timing is consistent.   Avoid using templates for the slides, present information clearly and concisely.     Have backups!
